PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine high breathability and high peel strength.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by a pants-type disposable diaper comprising an elastic area 80 which can stretch in at least one direction and which is provided to an outer shell 20. In the elastic area 80, an elastic film 30 is laminated between a first sheet layer 20A made of nonwoven cloth and a second sheet layer 20B made of nonwoven cloth. When the elastic film 30 is stretched in the direction of extension, the first sheet layer 20A and second sheet layer 20B are joined, via through holes 31 formed in the elastic film 30, at a large number of joining sections 40 which are positioned with intervals therebetween in the direction of extension and in the direction orthogonal thereto.
