Provided are phosphoramidate derivative compounds of 5-fluoro-2&rsquo-deoxyuridine, of general formula I, where the variables are as defined in the specification. Examples of the compounds include 5-Fluoro-2&rsquo-deoxyuridine-5&rsquo-O-[phenyl(benzoxy-L-alaninyl)] phosphate and 5-Fluoro-2&rsquo-deoxyuridine-5&rsquo-O-[phenyl(ethoxy-L-valinyl)] phosphate. The compounds are useful in the treatment of cancer.
