To provide an electric reel in which motor output is restrained from varying with operational environment and/or pressing conditions so that the motor output can be adjusted quickly and easily. A motor control device comprises a pressing operation unit 12, motor control means, and output adjustment means. The pressing operation unit 12 comprises a pressure sensor 15 whose output changes depending on pressing force, and is provided in the reel body. The motor control means controls motor output in accordance with output of the pressure sensor 15. The output adjustment means arbitrarily sets a threshold value for a maximum value of the pressing force at the pressure sensor 15.
