PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope connection system capable of preventing electrostatic breakdown caused starting from a dedicated connection pin (short circuit-disconnection selection pin) in disconnection state without performing complicated and large-scale work such as alteration of the hardware, and also to provide an electrostatic protective mechanism and an electrostatic protective substrate sheet to be used therefor.SOLUTION: When a processor for electronic endoscope is connected with a first electronic endoscope, the electrostatic protective mechanism brings a ground connection pin and a second electronic endoscope-dedicated connection pin into conduction to prevent electrostatic breakdown starting from the second electronic endoscope-dedicated connection pin. Also when the processor for electronic endoscope is connected with a second electronic endoscope, the electrostatic protective mechanism brings the ground connection pin and a first electronic endoscope-dedicated connection pin into conduction to prevent electrostatic breakdown starting from the first electronic endoscope-dedicated connection pin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】ハードウェアの変更等の複雑で大掛かりな処理を行うことなく、開放状態にある専用接続ピン(短絡-開放選択ピン)を起点とする静電気破壊を防止することができる電子内視鏡接続システム並びにこれに用いる静電気保護機構及び静電気保護用の基板シートを得る。【解決手段】静電気保護機構は、電子内視鏡用プロセッサに対して第1の電子内視鏡を接続したときにグランド接続ピンと第2の電子内視鏡専用接続ピンを導通させて第2の電子内視鏡専用接続ピンを起点とする静電気破壊を防止するとともに、電子内視鏡用プロセッサに対して第2の電子内視鏡を接続したときにグランド接続ピンと第1の電子内視鏡専用接続ピンを導通させて第1の電子内視鏡専用接続ピンを起点とする静電気破壊を防止する。【選択図】図3
