PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a cyclic amine-1-carboxylic acid ester derivative and an intermediate thereof.SOLUTION: The production process includes two or three steps including: allowing an inexpensive starting material represented by formula (I) to react with a carbamate forming reagent to obtain, through an intermediate represented by formula (II), a cyclic amine-1-carboxylic acid ester derivative represented by formula (III) which is useful as a medicine for pains and inflammations.
