PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for circulating oxygen, carbon dioxide and the like comprising utilization of oxygen, carbon dioxide and the like in combination with plant cultivation so as to make good use of the oxygen, the carbon dioxide and the like generated from buildings for promotion of the plant cultivation and further for energy production so as to reduce energy costs of the buildings. SOLUTION: The method for circulating oxygen, carbon dioxide and the like comprises the following process: circulating carbon dioxide and exhaust air from air conditioners and the like generated from a building 1, and air in a plant cultivation chamber 2 so that air CA slightly increased in the carbon dioxide is supplied to the plant cultivation chamber 2 from the building 1 and air OA slightly increased in oxygen is supplied to the building 1 from the plant cultivation chamber 2 in contrast, further the air OA slightly increased in oxygen derived from the plant cultivation chamber 2 is supplied to an engine-system power generator 3, and at the same time the air CA slightly increased in carbon dioxide derived from the engine-system power generator 3 is supplied to the plant cultivation chamber 2 so as to efficiently utilize wastes generated in the building 1 and the air CA, OA to be used for human breath or air conditioners.
