PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for detecting the remaining amount of a substance enclosed in a bag body, capable of improving the accuracy in detecting the remaining amount, capable of easily detecting the remaining amount of the substance enclosed in the bag body, allowing the bag body to be easily attached/detached, having a simple structure, and capable of being easily implemented and to provide a kneading device.SOLUTION: Both ends of a base material pack 2 having an ejection port 25 at one end to be expanded by enclosing a fluid substance therein are pulled in directions to be separated from each other, and when the length of the base material pack 2 reaches a predetermined first set value, it is announced that the remaining amount of the content in the base material pack 2 is reduced to the set value. Based on the announcement, the base material pack 2 is stroked toward the ejection port 25.
