PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device having a structural body foldable through a biological material, and to provide a method for making the device.SOLUTION: The device comprises a structural body and a base material detachably holding the structural body. In this device, the structure is held on the surface of the base material in such a state that part thereof is exposed on the outer surface of this device, and the top face of the part of the structural body exposed on the outer surface of this device is provided with at least one hinge structure wherein the hinge structure has such a dimension that a biological material can join both of the edges of the hinge structure astride it and a biocompatible polymer is formed on the surface of the base material exposed on the outer surface of this device.
