PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pregelatinized grain flour manufacturing apparatus which can prevent the residence of grains in a supply part resultant from an over viscosity of grains in the supply part with steam generated by moisture in grains in a guide passage or in the supply part.SOLUTION: An apparatus of this invention comprises a grinding part 1 capable of shearing and pulverizing grains E, a supply part capable of supplying grains to the grinding part, and an exhaust part 6 capable of exhausting sheared and pulverized grain flour F out of the grinding part. The grinding part consists of a pair of grinding plates 2, 3 disposed opposite to each other with a grinding gap G capable of shearing and crushing grains formed between opposite faces of the respective grinding faces 2a, 3a of the pair of grinding plates. A guide passage is formed that drops and guides grains from the supply part into the grinding gap under dead weight. The apparatus is provided with a steam removal part 10 for removing steam S generated from inside grains in the supply part associated with the heating of grains with a heating part 9 and the shearing and crushing of grains.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
