Disclosed are methods and compositions related to pre-conditioning a subject for T cell therapy. In one aspect, disclosed herein are methods of treating a cancer or HIV infection in a subject comprising administering to the subject a T cell targeting immunotoxin (such as, for example an anti-CD3 immunotoxin) and therapeutic T cells (such as, for example, CAR T cells). Disclosed herein are methods of pre-conditioning a subject with HIV or a cancer for CAR T cell therapy comprising administering to the subject an anti-CD3 immunotoxin.La présente invention concerne des procédés et des compositions liés au pré-conditionnement d'un sujet pour la thérapie à lymphocytes T.
