PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter that is configured to execute an automatic engine-stop control only when a condition is satisfied in which a stop of an engine rotation does not cause any problem and configured to have a smaller number of operation steps for restarting the engine.SOLUTION: A seedling transplanter includes: an engine 1 in a vehicle body 3 a lift link mechanism 4 disposed behind the vehicle body 3 in a movable manner in an upward and downward direction a seedling planting portion 5 configured to plant seedlings in a field and disposed on the lift link mechanism 4 a descent detection sensor 7 configured to detect a descent of the seedling planting portion 5 a planting operation lever 6 configured to operate lifting of the seedling planting portion 5 and planting and a lever potentiometer 8 configured to detect an operation position of the planting operation lever 6.
