PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beekeeping box free from the need of additive equipment, requiring no running cost and capable of effectively preventing an attack of Vespa mandarinia.SOLUTION: A beekeeping box is configured such that a hive gate is detachably covered with a slit formation body. The slit formation body has: one or more flat plates arranged in the horizontal direction and a spacer as a pair of lateral plates holding and fastening the plate from the right and left sides, and is separated by a distance of 3-9 mm from an upper cover member when the spacer is equipped with the upper cover member for horizontally covering the top edge of the hive gate, and separated from a hive gate opening top edge surface when the spacer is not equipped with the upper cover member.
