PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent which has a high acidic gas absorption performance and prevents resin deterioration and a deodorant processed product such as paper, non-woven fabric and fiber exhibiting excellent deodorant performance using the absorbent.SOLUTION: An absorbent for acidic gas is represented by a composition formula (1): Na2O mSiO2 nH2O (0.8≤m≤4.40.01≤n≤8.0) and is formed of sodium silicate. An adsorption amount of the acidic gas is 20 mL/g or more, and the average particle size thereof is 0.1-20 μm.
