The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting or preventing a virus biofilm formation containing a plant extract as an active ingredient, and a composition for controlling a plant disease. The composition containing a plant extract according to the present invention can inhibit a virus quorum sensing and a virus biofilm formation and is effective in control of a plant pathogenic bacterium, thereby being usefully used as an ecofriendly agent for controlling the plant disease. The composition for inhibiting or preventing a virus biofilm formation contains the plant extract extracting at least one plant selected from a group composed among cornus controversa Hemsl., cynanchum wilfordii Hemsl., alnus sibirica Fisch. ex Turcz. and caryopteris incana (Thunb. ex Houtt.) Miq.) as the active ingredient.본 발명은 식물추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 세균 생물막(biofilm) 형성 억제 또는 방지용 조성물 및 식물병 방제용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 식물추출물을 함유하는 조성물은 세균밀도인식(quorum sensing) 및 세균 생물막(biofilm) 형성을 억제하는 효과가 있으며, 식물병원균 방제에 효과적이므로, 식물병 방제를 위한 친환경제제로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
