The present invention relates to an automatic elevating device for a side rail of a medical bed, and more specifically, to an automatic elevating device for a side rail of a medical bed, in which an elevation linker is folded by a rotation movement of a screw, so that an elevating action of the side rail is automatically performed. To this end, the present invention provides the automatic elevating device for the side rail of the medical bed, which includes: a driving unit； a screw forwardly/backwardly rotated by driving force of the driving unit and arranged in the lengthwise direction of the bed； a moving member for reciprocally moving along the screw by the forward/backward rotation of the screw； a side rail arranged at both sides of the bed to prevent a patient from being injured because of falling down； a couple of elevating linkers prepared to intersect with each other between the screw and the side rail, fixed to the moving member with one end portion the elevating linker, and folded to elevate the side rail when the moving member is moved by the rotation of the screw； and an entrance door coupled to one side of the side rail by a hinge shaft to rotate toward the outside of the bed.본 발명은 의료용 침대의 사이드레일 자동 승강장치에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 스크류의 회전운동을 이용해 승강링커를 접철시킴으로써 사이드레일의 승강작용이 자동으로 이루어질 수 있도록 한 의료용 침대의 사이드레일 자동 승강장치에 관한 것이다.이를 위해, 구동부；상기 구동부의 동력에 의해 정,역 회전되며, 침대의 길이방향으로 배치된 스크류；상기 스크류의 정,역 회전에 의해 스크류를 따라 왕복 이동되는 이동부재；침대의 양측에 배치되어 환자의 낙상을 방지하는 사이드레일；상기 스크류측와 사이드레일 사이에 서로 교차되게 한 쌍으로 마련되되 어느 하나의 일단부는 이동부재에 고정되며, 스크류 회전에 의한 이동부재의 이동시 접철되면서 사이드레일을 승강시키는 승강링커；상기 사이드레일의 일측에 힌지축 결합되어 침대의 외부를 향해 회동되는 출입도어:를 포함하여 구성된 의료용 침대의 사이드레일 자동 승강장치를 제공한다.
