FIELD: pharmaceuticals.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pharmaceutical industry, namely to process for production of melanin substances obtained from waste products of the oil extracting industry – sunflower husks. Method for producing melanin substances from sunflower husks, including grinding sunflower husks, extracting melanin substances with a solution of NaOH, filtration, precipitation of melanin substances by addition of a solution of hydrochloric acid and drying of the formed precipitate, at the same time from the crushed husk of sunflower fraction 1÷3 mm extraction of melanin substances is carried out by 0.095÷0.105 N. of NaOH solution at a ratio of the weight of the husk of sunflower to the mass of the extractant 1:35÷1:45 with additional simultaneous exposure by ultrasound with a frequency of 37±1 kHz and an intensity of 414±5 W/cm2, at a temperature of 60±5 °C and constant stirring for 25±5 minutes, precipitation of melanin substances by addition of concentrated hydrochloric acid in a volume ratio to the filtrate 1:65÷1:75, separation of the resulting precipitate from the solution is carried out by centrifugation at 6,000±10 rpm for 5±0.5 min, then the precipitate is washed with distilled water and frozen at -19±1 °C, and then freeze-dried.EFFECT: method above described allows to increase the efficiency of the process, increase the purity and stability of the resulting melanin substances by reducing the by-products in the product, reduce the cost of the final product, as well as reduce energy costs.1 cl, 1 tbl, 29 exИзобретение относится к фармацевтической промышленности, а именно к способу получения меланиновых веществ, получаемых из отходов маслоэкстракционного производства - лузги подсолнечника.
