PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter of a simple configuration that enhances operability and efficiency.SOLUTION: In the transplanter, a travel device 4 is provided with a conveying unit 5 and a planting device 6 for transplanting a subject N of transplanting conveyed by the conveying unit 5 to a field. The conveying unit 5 is provided with endless belts 44a, 44b each of which has a plurality of holding hole portions 54 provided thereon in the conveyance direction for accommodating the subject N of transplanting. Each of the endless belts 44a, 44b has a transplanting and conveying passage which moves near the upper surface of the field parallel or approximately parallel thereto.
