Emulsion type cosmetic composition used e.g. as mascara to coat eyelashes, comprises aqueous phase, aqueous dispersion of hard wax particles, and emulsifying system comprising nonionic surfactant including fatty acid ester and polyglycerol
Emulsion type cosmetic composition comprises: an aqueous phase; particles comprising a hard wax, preferably an aqueous dispersion of particles of hard wax having a melting temperature of >;= 60[deg] C; and an emulsifying system that is adapted to disperse the hard wax and comprises a nonionic surfactant having a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance, at 25[deg] C, of >;= 8, preferably >;= 10 and comprising 12-20C (preferably 18C) fatty acid ester and polyglycerol including 6 groups of glycerol. An independent claim is included for preparing the emulsion type cosmetic composition comprising heating the hard wax and optionally additional wax in the aqueous phase at a temperature, which is greater than the melting temperature of the hard wax, adding the emulsifying system, >;= 25 wt.% of water, colorant and optionally other thickening nature compound (such as gums, fillers, pasty fatty substances and water-soluble film-forming polymers) to the aqueous phase, where the total content of hard waxes and optionally additional waxes and the total content of emulsifying system are = 1.75, preferably 1/3 to 1.25 such that the weight ratio of the waxes is more than the additional wax/emulsifying system, stirring the mixture at a temperature, which is greater than the melting temperature of the hard wax, disposing the aqueous phase, to a second phase, comprising an aqueous dispersion of particles of film forming polymer, controlling the temperature to 0-45[deg] C, preferably 0-20[deg] C for the preparation of first phase and the second phase that is different from the first phase, and contacting the first and second phases at a temperature of 0-45[deg] C, preferably 0-20[deg] C, stirring the mixture until the temperature of mixture is regulated to 0-45[deg] C preferably 0-20[deg] C and then adding preservatives.La présente invention concerne une composition cosmétique de revêtement des fibres kératiniques du type émulsion, comportant : - une phase aqueuse, - des particules comp
