PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bird stopper for preventing birds from stopping at a bird stopper object such as an overhead wire, wherein a dimensional adjustment of the longitudinal size required for making the bird stopper adaptable to the installation site can be made with ease.SOLUTION: When a bird stopper 1 faces the annular member 11 of an adjacent bird stopper 1, the end 11e is inserted into the through hole 11c made in the annular member 11 of the adjacent bird stopper 1 while turning a tongue 11d, and the tongue 11d is turned back in a state where the coupling part 11f is located in the through hole 11c. Since the end 11e is latched to the through hole 11c and locked, the bird stopper 1 can be coupled removably to the annular member 11 of the adjacent bird stopper 1. The bird stopper 1 can be uncoupled by the reverse procedure. A desired quantity of bird stoppers 1 can be coupled by repeating the operation, and the length dimension of the bird stoppers 1 to be coupled can be adjusted easily to be suitable for the installation site when the bird stoppers are manufactured in the factory or installed in the site.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】架空電線などの鳥害対象物に鳥が止まることを防止する鳥害防止具において、設置場所に適合させるための長手方向の長さ寸法の調節を容易にすること。【解決手段】鳥害防止具1は、隣接する鳥害防止具1の円環部材11と対向する際に、舌片11dを回転させながらその先端部11eを隣接する鳥害防止具1の円環部材11の貫通孔11cに挿入し、連結部分11fが貫通孔11c内部に位置する状態で舌片11dの回転を元に戻すことで、先端部11eが貫通孔11cを係止して抜けなくなり、隣接する鳥害防止具1の円環部材11に対して着脱可能に連結させることができる。なお、逆の手順によって連結を解除することができる。この作業を繰り返すことによって所望の数量の鳥害防止具1を連結することができ、工場での製造時や現場での取付時などに、連結される鳥害防止具1の長さ寸法を設置場所に適合するように容易に調節することができる。【選択図】図1
