FIELD: medical equipment.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Method of diagnostics of physiological state involves generating pressure oscillations, flow rate or gas volume in respiratory tract by means of excitation source, determination of gas flow rate and pressure to generate corresponding time series, which show flow rate and pressure, conversion of time series in frequency-time domain to generate converted time series, assessment of power consumption and pressure, assessment of corresponding mutual spectra of flow rate and pressure, depending on time and frequency, assessment of respiratory impedance, determination of variables, associated with pressure and flow rate, is carried out using selected level of reliability, number of degrees of freedom of assessed power and mutual spectra of pressure and square coefficient of connection between excitation source and pressure. Evaluation of impedance is rejected if defined variable, associated with flow rate, is equal or exceeds first limit, or defined variable, associated with pressure, is equal or exceeds second limit. Diagnostics of physiological state is carried out on basis of reliable assessment of respiratory impedance.
