PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent composition,in which the composition has an ultraviolet protection effect while maintaining high transparency, and moreover, the ultraviolet protection effect is improved from the level just after the application when the composition contacts moisture such as water and sweat.SOLUTION: A transparent composition has (a) ultraviolet absorber, (b) oil content with a refractive index of 1.5-1.7, (c) oil content with a refractive index of 1.3-1.5 exclusive, and (d) powder with a refractive index of 1.45-1.55.
