PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breeding promotion method of valuable bivalves in which the degradation of a habitat due to poisoning/competing shellfish is prevented and the breeding promotion such as short-necked clams can be performed further efficiently, and to provide a landing promotion unit capable of promoting the landing of larvae such as the short-necked clams by maintaining a good habitat.SOLUTION: String-like sweeping bodies 3 reciprocating by the flow of the seawater are disposed on the ground 2 of a habitat tidal flat of valuable bivalves 1 such as short-necked clams, and thereby the epiphytes of poisoning/competing shellfish 4 to the surface layer of the ground 2 are regulated and the breeding of the valuable bivalves 1 in the habitat tidal flat is promoted. Also, landing promotion base materials 6 are filled in meshed bags 7, and the sweeping bodies 3 are movably connected on the bag surface, and thereby a landing promotion unit is configured.【課題】有害・競合貝類による生息環境の悪化を防止してアサリ等の繁殖促進をより効率的にすることのできる有用二枚貝の繁殖促進方法の提供を目的とする。また、良好な生息環境の維持によりアサリ等の幼生の着底を促進することのできる着底促進ユニットの提供を目的とする。【解決手段】アサリ等の有用二枚貝１の生息干潟の地面２上に海水の流れにより往復移動する紐状の掃引体３を配置し、地面２表層への有害・競合貝類４の着生を規制して生息干潟における有用二枚貝１の繁殖を促進する。また、メッシュ状の袋体７に着底促進基材６を袋詰めするとともに、掃引体３を袋表面上で移動自在に連結して着底促進ユニットを構成する。【選択図】図１
