PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate handling in maintenance or the like.SOLUTION: A wheelchair 1 comprises a connection member 111 detachably attached to a bodywork of the wheelchair. Holders 115, 211 integrated with the connection member 111 hold a body pipe 101 (base end part) of a fall prevention bar 100 so as to freely oscillate around a preset axial line L so that the fall prevention bar 100 can be displaced between an assist position and a storage position. The wheelchair further comprises a notification unit 160 for notifying a passenger of warning information. The connection member 111 or the members (holders 115, 211, cover 117) which are integrated with the connection member 111 and attached to and detached from the bodywork 2 of the wheelchair 1 together with the connection member 111, have switch means 120 attached thereto. The switch means 120 actuates the notification means 160 when the fall prevention bar 100 takes a posture other than the assist position.
