PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorber that can improve fixing property of a water absorptive polymer material in an absorber to increase liquid absorption speed while thinning the absorber.SOLUTION: In an absorber 10, a liquid absorptive composite grain material 3 having a joint proximal part 2 containing a thermo-fusible resin component at a surface of a water absorptive polymer material 1 is fixed to a substrate nonwoven fabric 4 via the joint proximal part 2.
