The mobile medical imaging viewing station has a mobile support base (30), a display device (32) movably attached to the support base, and a docking device (34). The display device is movable to provide an adapted positioning of the display device with respect to the mobile support. The docking device includes a docking interface attached to the support base. The docking device is configured to interact with a mobile medical X-ray imaging station counter interface for docking the mobile medical imaging viewing station to the mobile X-ray imaging station, at least for transport purposes.
