The method comprises the steps of: conveying a front-abdominal-portion forming strip (4A) and a rear-dorsal-portion forming strip (5A) in such a manner as to allow respective longitudinal directions thereof to become parallel to each other, while applying to each of them a tension along its longitudinal direction dividing the front-abdominal-portion forming strip (4A) being conveyed, along a dividing line (D1) parallel to a width direction thereof holding a relative positional relationship between two segments of the front-abdominal-portion forming strip (4A) on both sides of the dividing line (D1) within a period of implementation of the step of holding, detachably attaching a first attaching-detaching member (10) to the front-abdominal-portion forming strip (4A) in such a manner as to cover the dividing line (D1), thereby restricting a relative displacement between the segments of the front-abdominal-portion forming strip (4A) on both sides of the dividing line (D1) joining the front-abdominal-portion forming strip (4A) and a front region (3a) of a crotch portion (3) together and joining the rear-dorsal-portion forming strip (5A) and a rear region (3b) of the crotch portion (3) together.
