The present invention relates to a water-insoluble meloxicam and a method for manufacturing the same. The water-insoluble meloxicam according to an embodiment of the present invention includes 100 parts by weight of a meloxicam and 10 to 200 parts by weight of a surfactant having two or more alkyl chains attached to a hydrophilic portion the for meloxicam.
