PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition comprising a human IgG1 (immunoglobulin G1) monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to human interleukin-1α.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there are provided a human IgG1 (immunoglobulin G1) monoclonal antibody effective for killing cancer cells, and a composition comprising the same. Here, the monoclonal antibody comprises an antigen-binding variable region that exhibits very high binding affinity for human interleukin-1α and a constant region that is effective at both activating the complement system though C1q binding and binding to several different Fc receptors. There is also provided a composition for inhibiting tumor cell cells into a basement membrane matrix.
