PURPOSE: A growing method of paprika using phenolic foam for a culture medium is provided to grow the paprika using a phenolic foam medium and a root cube medium having high porosity and air permeability. CONSTITUTION: A growing method of paprika using phenolic foam for a culture medium comprises the following steps: filling a sowing Styrofoam plug tray with a phenolic foam medium； soaking the sowing Styrofoam plug tray with water, and sowing paprika seeds； covering the tray with vermiculite, and transferring the tray to a germination chamber for germinating at 23-25 deg. C in 90-95% of relative humidity； transferring the tray to a seedling growing greenhouse, and drenching a nutrient solution to the medium； and bending the tray into a U-shape when true leaves starts to appear, and transplanting the paprika to a cube-type medium.본 발명은 페놀 폼 배지를 이용한 파프리카의 육묘법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 페놀 폼 LC(light cube) 배지와 RC(root cube) 배지는 공극률과 용기용수량이 높고 관수 후 배수가 잘되며 통기성이 우수하여, 파프리카 육묘 재배에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
