The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a far infrared heating wire and the far infrared heating wire manufactured thereby and, more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a heating wire having a predetermined resistance value and emitting far infrared rays when electricity is applied, and the heating wire manufactured thereby. The method for manufacturing a far infrared heating wire, according to an embodiment of the present invention, produces fine wires having a predetermined resistance value and emitting far infrared rays when electricity is applied, and then combines, into one bundle, multiple strands of fine wires such that the fine wires make contact with each other, so as to make one strand of heating wire.
