PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of an evaluation of positioning when capturing a medical image such as a mamma image.SOLUTION: An evaluation apparatus acquires a mamma image by radiographing a diagnosis object (Fig.2(A)). The evaluation apparatus analyzes the acquired mamma image and extracts a plurality of anatomical structures (the mamma, the mammary gland, the greater pectoral muscle and the papilla mammae) (Fig.2(B)). The apparatus evaluates a plurality of evaluation items of the positioning when radiographing the mamma image based on the extraction result of the structures and converts them into scores according to the evaluation items (Fig.3(C)). The evaluation apparatus thus converts the positioning into scores according to the evaluation items so as to comprehensively evaluate the positioning based on scores of the plurality of evaluation items and improve the accuracy in the evaluation of the positioning.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】乳房画像等の医用画像の撮影時におけるポジショニングの評価の精度を上げることができるようにする。【解決手段】診断対象の放射線撮影した乳房画像を取得する(図2(A))。この取得した乳房画像を解析し、解剖学的な構造物(乳房、乳腺、大胸筋、乳頭)を複数抽出する(図2(B))。これらの構造物の抽出結果に基づいて前記乳房画像の撮影時におけるポジショニングの複数の評価項目を評価し、各評価項目別に点数化する(図3(C))。このように各評価項目別に点数化することにより、複数の評価項目の点数からポジショニングを総合的に評価することができ、ポジショニングの評価の精度を上げることができる。【選択図】 図2
