PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material for a processed rice food, in which a removing process of the packaging material for the processed rice food can be done with less force than conventionally.SOLUTION: A packaging material 1 for a processed rice food includes an outer sheet 3 divisible in another direction orthogonal to one direction and an inner sheet divisible in the same direction, in which, in a state where the outer sheet 3 and the inner sheet are overlapped sandwiching a sheet-like food product therebetween, the outer and inner sheets are sealed at a peripheral position of the sheet-like food product. The outer sheet 3 is provided with a slit part 3c, the slit part 3c including a first slitting line formed to be orthogonal to a virtual line extending in the one direction and a pair of second slitting lines 3f formed to be orthogonal the first slitting line and with an interval in the other direction.
