PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel that is configured to prevent the loosening of a screw member for fixing a handle arm to a handle shaft.SOLUTION: A fishing reel includes a handle shaft 8, a handle arm 10, a nut member 12 and a stopper 24. The handle shaft 8 has a gear part 15 at a tip part. The handle arm 10 has a long hole 10c to be engaged with the handle shaft 8, and the handle shaft 8 can be fixed in any position along the long hole 10c. The nut member 12 has a female screw part 21c screwed to a male screw part 16 of the handle shaft 8, and mounts the handle arm 10 at the tip part of the handle shaft 8.
