PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for an absorbent article, which can prevent a defective absorbent article from being produced by surely and stably inspecting whether a second sheet member whose evenness is different from that of a first sheet member is stuck to the first sheet member constituting the absorbent article in a normal state.SOLUTION: In a sticking step, an adhesive is applied between a back sheet continuous body 10 being a first sheet member and a target tape 5 being a second sheet member, and the target tape 5 is stuck to the back sheet continuous body 10 while applying tension to the lengthwise direction of the back sheet continuous body 10.
