The present invention relates to hydrogel microbeads comprising at least water, chitosan and alginate, the water being present at a concentration of at least 90% by weight, the chitosan being present at a concentration of , 3 to 10% by weight and the alginate being present at a concentration of 0.5 to 10% by weight, the percentages by weight being expressed relative to the mass of the hydrogel microbead, said beads having an average diameter in number ranging from 100 to 900 microns, said beads having no solid trabecules. The invention also relates to their manufacturing process and their uses, in particular in pharmaceutical compositions or medical devices, more particularly for the treatment of a pathology of a joint.La présente invention concerne des microbilles d'hydrogel comprenant au moins de l'eau, du chitosane et de l'alginate, l'eau étant présente à une concentration d'au moins 90% en masse, le chitosane étant présent une concentration de 0,3 à 10 % en masse et l'alginate étant présent à une concentration de 0,5 à 10% en masse, les pourcentages en masse étant exprimés par rapport à la masse de la microbille d'hydrogel, lesdites billes présentant un diamètre moyen en nombre allant de 100 à 900 µm, lesdites billes ne présentant pas de trabécules solides. L'invention concerne également leur procédé de fabrication et leurs utilisations, en particulier dans des compositions pharmaceutiques ou des dispositifs médicaux, plus particulièrement pour le traitement d'une pathologie d'une articulation.
