PURPOSE: A black rice bran extract using subcritical water, and an anti-oxidant functional composition containing thereof as an active ingredient are provided to use a subcritical extraction method using water as a solvent. CONSTITUTION: A black rice bran extract is obtained by the following steps: drying black rice bran for 3 hours at 70 deg C, and pulverizing the dried black rice bran into 100 meshes; mixing the black rice bran powder and diatomite in a weight ratio of 1:2; and extracting the mixture in a subcritical water extractor at 110-190 deg C for 10 minutes, and drying the extract. An anti-oxidant functional composition contains the black rice bran extract obtained by the subcritical extraction method as an active ingredient.
