The deodorant composition using the matte extract is advantageous in that it has no side effects and high safety because it is a naturally derived extract, but it also has a drawback that its deodorizing effect remarkably deteriorates under a weakly acidic condition. Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a deodorant composition containing a matéa extract, which has a high deodorizing effect even under a weak acidic condition. By using the matete extract and the lacase in combination, a high deodorizing effect can be recognized in the deodorant composition using the conventional maté extract, even under the conditions of weak acidity, in which the deodorizing effect is lowered.
