PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article including an absorber having both of durability and flexibility.SOLUTION: A vertically-long absorbent article 1 includes: a liquid-permeable top sheet 2； a liquid-impermeable back sheet 3； and an absorber 4 with liquid retention property, provided between the top sheet and the back sheet. The absorber contains pulp fibers and synthetic fibers and includes crimp portions 9 scattered thereon.
