PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which does not contain fluff pulp, is thin and lightweight, has excellent absorption performance such as absorption / diffusion ability, and has a good tactile sensation. An absorbent article 1 of the present invention includes a liquid-permeable top sheet 20, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 21, and an absorber 30 provided between the top sheet 20 and the back sheet 21. The absorbent body 30 has a fiber aggregate made of tow and a highly absorbent polymer fixedly supported inside the fiber aggregate, and includes the absorbent body 30 and the back sheet 21.
