Purpose: greening of fa??ade surfaces and parapets, as well as insulating fa??ade covering. Solution: vertically arranged holders, which are hooked together to form holder chains (a-d) or are manufactured as such from the outset, bear earth-filled channels made of rigid-elastic material, the rear sides of which overlap and the undersides of which are perforated for ventilation and drainage of the earth filling (e). Watering hoses can be laid into the channels or manufactured integrally. The wall mounting is effected with hooks, eyes or clamps. The varied shape for greening on both sides has a symmetrical channel cross-section. Covering channels can also be shaped in such a manner that they can be suspended on one another (f) without additional holders. Advantages: the system allows accurate cutting to all fa??ade dimensions. It replaces other wall coverings, insulates, is uncomplicated in manufacture and mounting, plants rich in species bring a living change in the appearance, it has a heat-regulating effect, is sound-absorbing, dust-absorbing. Most variations cannot be climbed on. Walls remain dry and can breathe. New biotopes can be created thus even in large towns.
