PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-calorie granular solid roux that uses a sweetener having a high degree of sweetness instead of sugar or the like, is excellent in solubility in hot water, enables stable automatic filling into a packaging container, is excellent in long-term storage and also is excellent in rich taste and texture of sauce after cooking, to provide a production method for easily producing a low-calorie granular solid roux and to provide a low-calorie granular solid roux-containing seasoning that includes the low-calorie granular solid roux.SOLUTION: The low calorie granular solid roux is produced by using a starch raw material and oils and fats as an essential raw material, adding a sweetener having a high degree of sweetness and other food raw materials, heating and mixing at temperature equal to or higher than a melting point of the oils and fats to prepare a pasty raw material, and then cooling and solidifying the pasty raw material to be formed into a particle passing through a sieve having a sieve opening of 10 mm to thereby produce a granular solid roux or alternatively cooling and solidifying the pasty raw material and pulverizing the resultant cooled solid roux to be formed into a particle passing through a sieve having a sieve opening of 10 mm to thereby produce a granular solid roux.
