PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating section of an electronic endoscope which permits an electronic zooming operation to continuously arbitrarily vary the display magnification of an endoscopically observed image to be easily and unerringly performed without hindering the operation of a bending operation knob and other operating members.
SOLUTION: An electronic zooming operation switch 20 is arranged swingably along the rear wall 9 of an operating section 1 rightward and leftward as viewed from the rear side of the operating section 1 around a central rotary axis 20x to permit the display magnification of an endoscopically observed image to be continuously varied by swingingly operating the electronic zooming operation switch 20.
