An oil seal installation structure for use in washing machines, and a washing machine, the oil seal installation structure for washing machines comprising at three oil seals (3, 4, 5) disposed at an interval on a main shaft of a washing machine, and said oil seals (3, 4, 5) all being positioned between the rear portion of an inner drum of the washing machine and a first bearing (2) which is close to the inner drum; sealing lips of the oil seals (3, 5) positioned at two ends facing toward a sealing region (6) of the main shaft, and a sealing lip of at least one oil seal (4) which is positioned in the middle facing away from the sealing region (6) of the main shaft. Said oil seal installation structure for use in washing machines has good water-proof and dust-proof performances, and is simple in structure, which leads to longer service lives and better reliability for washing machines.
