A storage device is provided to store a tool or component in an operatingtheater andincludes a receiving portion and a retaining member. The receiving portion isconfigured tosupport the tool or component thereon. The retaining member is transitionablebetween an initialconfiguration and a deployed configuration and includes a securing regionthereon. In thedeployed configuration, the retaining member is spaced away from a planedefined by a surfaceof the receiving portion. The securing region is configured to facilitate thepassage of a tool orcomponent through the retaining member such that the tool or component issecured therein.
