PURPOSE: A pattern forming method of a sweet rice cookie is provided to manufacture the sweet rice cookie by using food materials per se for a sweet rice cookie, not using a method of attaching other colored food materials on the surface or backside of the sweet rice cookie.CONSTITUTION: Different colored sweet rice cookie plates with a predetermined thickness are made using different colored food materials separately. The different colored sweet rice cookie plates are laminated and adhered according to desired patterns. Multiple unit pieces are formed by cutting plural number of adhered sweet rice cookie plates in the same thickness and width. The multiple unit pieces are cross-arranged and adhered to form patterns in the cross section. The multiple adhered unit pieces are cut in a predetermined thickness. After the multiple unit pieces are adhered, sweet rice cookie plates with the same color to the background color of the pattern are adhered in order to surround the multiple adhered unit pieces. A pattern is a swastika pattern, an O-pattern, and a cross shape pattern.
