A tool (55) arranged at said tip part at the distal end of the endoscope, said tool is movable between a retracted position, an extended position and a task position and a tool operating member (22) located at the operating handle (2), said tool operating member (22) is operable between a rest position and a working position, said working position of the tool operating member comprises an intermediate position and depressed position, wherein the intermediate position is located between the rest position and the depressed position, and in the intermediate position the tool is in the extended position and in the depressed position the tool is in the task position.
