PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2)-inhibiting drug capable of selectively inhibiting COX-2, and to provide novel means for prevention/treatment of clinical conditions such as inflammation, pain and cancer.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a sense oligonucleotide comprising a sequence complementary to the endogenous antisense transcript containing a sequence complementary to the sense strand 3UTR of COX-2 gene and capable of controlling the expression of the gene.
