PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter for improving a phase difference by providing a torque for canceling a torque fluctuation that occurs at planting arm axis to level the torque fluctuation, thereby optimizing a trajectory of a planting claw and preventing defective planting.SOLUTION: A rice transplanter for delivering power via an inconstant speed mechanism to a planting arm axis supporting a rotary case includes a torque leveling mechanism for providing a torque that cancels a torque fluctuation resulting from the inconstant speed mechanism. The torque leveling mechanism provided in a power delivering path for delivering the power to the planting arm includes: a crank portion which is a crank-like formed part of an axis that rotates at a twice as many number of rotation as that of the planting arm and a spring attached to the crank portion. The spring provides the torque, and is attached by means of a hook which is formed of a material different from the spring and is engageable on an outer circumference of the crank portion.
