PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner that suppresses deterioration of electrodes by suppressing a peak value of current flowing during energization after polarity changeover even when water that is an electrolysis object has high conductivity.SOLUTION: An air cleaner includes an electrode unit 9. The electrode unit includes an energization means 13 that performs intermittent energization by alternately switching energization and non-energization, and a conductive path inversion means 14.
