Also disclosed is a novel compound which has a high therapeutic effect and can be expected to have a low hurdle for practical application by selecting a target compound from a lot of candidate compounds through evaluation for not only an antibacterial activity but also for a therapeutic effect. More specifically disclosed are a cyclic peptide compound represented by formula (1) (wherein R represents an acyl group having 7 8 or 9 carbon atoms which may have a substituent； R represents a methyl group or a hydrogen atom； and R represents an ethyl group or a methyl group) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a microorganism having an accession number of NITE BP 870 or a naturally or artificially mutated microorganism thereof.
